The material is obtained as carcasses from veterinary clinics or farms and is processed in accordance with veterinary law and hygiene regulations in a workshop registered with the State Veterinary Administration. The bones are thoroughly degreased, cleaned, and bleached. The specimens therefore contain no tissue residues, and all bones and joints are clearly visible.
