The collections we offer are educational aids for elementary and secondary schools. Their purpose is to popularize fauna and its protection in our landscape. They serve for learning and teaching. Arthropods, or invertebrates, are a highly endangered group of animals that have suffered in the 20th century from the intensification and chemicalization of agriculture and forestry (pesticides). This activity has had the most fatal impact on reducing their population in Czechia. Unfortunately, the deaths of invertebrates caused by intensive agriculture, forestry, and construction are not enforceable! Enforceability focuses only on so-called specially protected species. Our collections do not physically contain these protected species. However, for the sake of completeness, their images are included.
