The set contains suitable tools for processing, preparing, and preserving invertebrates. It is intended for natural science exercises in elementary and secondary schools and for anyone interested in practical biology. Based on our own experience, we have selected only those tools that are best suited for this purpose. The set contains tools for three students:
- 3 insect mounting frames (three different sizes depending on purpose);
- 3 large tweezers;
- 3 small tweezers;
- 3 dissecting needles;
- 3 magnifying glasses;
- 3 parchment tapes for stretching insect wings;
- Three-stage height gauge for determining the height of the specimen on the pin;
- Preparation pins;
- Herkules glue for gluing insects to backing labels;
- 4 entomological boxes for storing prepared insects
- 100 backing labels for gluing insects into collections;
- 3 packs of entomological pins;
- Box with polystyrene for moistening insects before preparation;
- 3 preparation pads;
- 1 large folding cage for breeding insects;
- 2 small folding cages for breeding insects.
