Insect houses are one of the most important parts of a modern natural garden. They can be home to beneficial insects such as seven-spotted ladybugs, lacewings, and solitary bees. They are wooden structures measuring 1.2 m * 0.8 m (frame) on supporting struts. The frame is divided by shelves and partitions into individual sections, which are filled with various materials such as rotting wood, pieces of bark, drilled wooden blocks of various sizes, dry reeds, dry grass and a little hay, moss… The front and back of the insect house are covered with mesh to prevent the substrate from falling out. The structure is made of 10×10 cm spruce beams. We will apply a coat of paint according to the customer’s wishes.
The price does not include installation. Installation must be requested and agreed upon individually depending on your project.
